The tie offers Oldham a second bite of the play-off cherry following last weekend’s 36-0 defeat at Doncaster in the first round of the play-offs, also shown on The Sportsman, while the Crusaders qualified on the back of an outstanding 26-10 victory at Workington Town. The loser will be eliminated from the play-offs.
Whoever wins will visit either Hunslet or Doncaster for a place in the Betfred League One Promotion Final on Sunday 24. Those two go head-to-head in South Leeds at 6pm this Sunday. Should Hunslet win, they will go straight through to the promotion final – as will Doncaster if they win. The loser will have another opportunity in a preliminary final against either Oldham or North Wales Crusaders on Sunday 17 September.
The Sportsman will feature live action from every round of the Betfred League One play-offs, up to and including the final.
