Lee is a journalist and screenwriter.
He twice won BBC Writersroom (Scriptroom 4, and Comedy Room 2015). In June 2015 he won TriForce’s Writer Slam event with a comedy drama about a dying girl.
In 2016 he had projects in development with ITV Studios, BBC Drama, BBC Comedy, Bandit TV, and Green Door Pictures
In 2017 a short film he wrote as part of BBC Three’s “Five by Five” series will air. Idris Elba stars in the series alongside an array of exciting young talent. Set in London, the five standalone films feature chance encounters people face which question identity and change perception.
As an award winning journalist, he has written for ShortList, The Observer, NME, The Daily Telegraph, FHM and Rolling Stone, amongst many others.
