The Sportsman's Verdict
THE PADDY PIE hasn't done a great deal wrong in three starts since switching to fences, placing on each occasion, and having faded late on in a competitive 3m1f event at Catterick last time, it looks a smart move dropping him back in trip. He gets the vote to edge out Tayzar, who posted two solid performances before unseating Jamie Hamilton early on at Kelso, and Instant Replay, a dual course winner who has been knocking on the door of late.
