The Sportsman's Verdict
Michele Strogoff was a length and a position ahead of Dragon Mall when chasing home a couple of triple-figure-rated opponents in a C&D conditions race, which helped banish his previous disappointment to the memory. Mythical Madness also took a step back in the right direction when runner-up to the rapidly-improving Matterhorn at Lingfield, but he was previously behind NONIOS in a competitive handicap here, and David Simcock's gelding is perhaps that little bit more reliable.
