Quiz: Can You Name Every Champions League Semi-Finalist Since 2000?

The Champions League quarter-finals delivered in spectacular fashion this past week with sides mounting seemingly impossible comebacks to book their place in the last four. One team booked their place in the semi-finals for the first time since the 1984 with a remarkable second leg comeback and will be hoping they can continue this good form in the next round.

There have been some great sides falling at the quarter-final stage this year and in years gone by as the European heavyweights clash at that stage. ‘Smaller’ teams have thrown up surprises in previous years, but one club has dominated the competition over the past few years.

The last time a team outside of the big five European leagues won the title was back in 2003-04 when a certain charismatic manager made his name on the international stage with a club from his home country.

Kiev is the venue for this year’s final where one of the four teams remaining in the competition will lift the trophy and given the clubs left in the competition we could be in for a cracking final. The final will be played on Saturday the 26th May (Bank holiday weekend in the U.K) and all eyes will turn to the Ukraine following the Championship play-off final which is being played on the same day.

Could an English team win the competition for the first time since 2012 or will the Spanish giants reign supreme once again>
