The men’s England national football team have yet to put a foot wrong in qualification for next year’s UEFA European Championships.
Gareth Southgate’s side have managed four wins from four in Group A, sitting pretty atop the table on 12 points and mercilessly scoring 19 goals en route, not failing to bag any less than four goals in a single game.
The October international break sees two more group fixtures for the Three Lions. First up is the Czech Republic, a side England routed 5-0 at Wembley Stadium in March, with a hattrick coming from 24-year-old Raheem Sterling. The Manchester City star has become a bonafide world-class talent, with his peak years hopefully ahead of him. In this youthful England side, however, he is a relatively old, experienced head.
All bar one player in the current 23-man squad was born in the 1990s, the exception being 19-year-old Borussia Dortmund sensation Jadon Sancho. No featured player is yet to hit the big 3-0, with the oldest being Liverpool skipper Jordan Henderson who was born on June 17, 1990.
