''A Coward Move'' - Chelsea Fans In Major Meltdown On Social Media As Davids Luiz Loses His Mind Against Tottenham
18:21, 24 Nov 2018

David Luiz reverted to type tonight with a bizarre display against Tottenham at Wembley and theChelsea fans on social media went into complete meltdown.

The curly haired defender has largely been excellent this season but we all know he is capable of throwing in a mistake or two and that is exactly what he did during the first half tonight.

The Brazilian looked set to block a long range shot from Harry Kane but inexplicably moved out of the way of the ball to leave Kepa with no chance in the Chelsea goal.

The ball rolled into the net in bizarre circumstance to give Spurs an early 2-0 lead against their London rivals and it is fair to say that Luiz bore the brunt of the Chelsea fans on social media.

David Luiz is the worst defender in the world!! - (@wiilkilz)

David Luiz just moved out of the way of that shot. A Premier League defender just pulled his body away from the ball. He should be substituted. And never fielded for Chelsea again. Astonishing - (@MenInBlazers)

Any team still starting David Luiz in 2018 deserves to lose. - (@RoyNemer)

I'm sorry but I cannot allow David Luiz moving out the way for Spurs second goal. Kepa couldn't see and David Luiz moved away as the ball was about to hit him. It's a coward move. Unforgivable from him. John Terry would have blocked it with his balls if he had to. Pathetic. - (@youneshh)

Chelsea had looked so impressive under Maurizio Sarri before this match against Spurs but it all fell apart early on from a defensive point of view and it is hard to defend David Luiz on this occasion, what was he thinking?
