Barcelona Ace Ousmane Dembele ‘A Little Crazy’ According To Former Boss

PSG boss Thomas Tuchel has heaped praise on his former player Ousmane Dembele, but called him ‘a little crazy’. Dembele has been in the headlines for being late to Barcelona training and failing to answer his phone with his discipline being called into question but his talent is unquestionable.

The former Borussia Dortmund boss managed Dembele for one season and was stunned by his obvious talent.

"Ousmane is an incredible player, he's really talented. I could watch his amazing skills in every training session,” he said in his press conference.

"He's also a great human being. He's a little crazy. He's a really nice boy but a little crazy. He loves to laugh but can also have very serious conversations. It's never boring with him.

"If he's focused enough, he can reach any level. When I talked to him for the very first time, he told me that he wanted to play for Barcelona. That's where he is now.

"It means he can reach any level, but he needs to remain focused and improve each day. During training sessions, he was as talented using his left or right foot.”

Barcelona paid a massive £103.5m for the Frenchman in 2017 following the sale of Neymar and if they can get his attitude straight then there is no limit on what he could achieve. Rumours of an early departure have been unfounded and it looks like Dembele will continue at Barca as they look to develop the player and see a return on their investment.
