This was literally the season I did not want to end. As a Manchester City fan this season has been incredible, so much so that it felt boring watching most other teams, such was the level of entertainment.
The records speak for themselves and it seems unlikely they will be broken for a number of years, if at all.
Pep Guardiola may well have had all the tools at his disposal, but the end product was undeniably glorious.
Yet for all the silky football, it was the steel and determination that the players showed that won over the fans. The plethora of late winners, the incessant pressing to win back the ball and the sheer togetherness they demonstrated when celebrating every goal.
That is why they became the greatest side in English football history. (Don’t @ me).
Of course they need to win a few more trophies, but to call this side anything other than special is ludicrous.
It has literally had everything for City fans this season. The resurgence of Vincent Kompany, the emergence of Phil Foden, the farewell to a legend in Yaya Toure.
Fabian Delph becoming one of the best left backs in the league, Ederson … oh Ederson; Otamendi not sliding in to a tackle in the opposition’s half or launching a ball to nobody, Raheem Sterling annoying every single fan in the country as they try to deny he is sheer class.
That’s before I start about David Silva. There are no words that do that man justice.
Then there is the pure ‘Bert’ of it all with our rivals moaning at every turn. It really is superb.
And to get 100 points with the last sublime kick of the season topped it off!
Amazing! Gabriel Jesus scores in the dying seconds and puts the Champions on course for an astonishing ONE HUNDRED POINTS

Best moment
Such a difficult choice, but the five minutes of possession mockery at Old Trafford in the Manchester derby wins it.
The sheer front City showed their rivals to constantly mock them as they tried to win back the ball only to lose every single battle.
An honourable mention goes to Benjamin Mendy tearing down the touchline on crutches to celebrate Raheem Sterling’s last second winner against Southampton.
Worst moment
Anything involving Liverpool. I can take Wigan. Liverpool hurts.
Pablo Maffeo going is also tough to take but we must trust Pep’s judgement
Best Player
Despite some top performances, David Silva once again showed why he is the best player in the league for me, especially given his personal issues. I doubt we will ever see a player as good again.
Worst Player
Difficult to choose but Bravo still isn’t up to the task, despite the penalty heroics in the Carabao Cup.
Be nice to see Angus Gunn given a chance next season given his impressive year at Norwich.
