Better Than Lionel Messi And Cristiano Ronaldo: Twitter Reacts To Sensational Performance From Wonderkid Jadon Sancho
All aboard the hype train! The excitement surrounding the young English starlet, Jadon Sancho, stepped up a notch on Saturday afternoon as the electric start to his career is drawing comparisons with Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
Sancho scored both of Borussia Dortmund's goal during their 2-2 draw with Hertha Berlin in the Bundesliga on Saturday and it continued his remarkable run of form during this 2018/19 campaign.
The 18-year-old has now scored five goals and laid on eight assists in 14 appearances in all competitions this season and England fans are starting to get very excited about the potential of the winger.
Sancho, who was handed his international debut by England head coach Gareth Southgate earlier this month, has scored more goals in the first 15 professional games of his career than Ronaldo and Messi had at the same stages of their career. Sancho has notched five, whereas Messi had three and Ronaldo had two.
There is a danger of everyone getting a bit carried away but that didn't stop excited football fans as Twitter was awash with praise for yet another stand-out performance from Sancho on Saturday afternoon...
