AFC Bournemouth have confirmed they have signed Dominic Solanke from Liverpool for a fee of around £19m.
The Cherries are set for a major double swoop on the Anfield club with Solanke joining Nathaniel Clyne at the south coast club, with the defender set for a loan move to Dorset.
The 21-year-old striker has left the Liverpool squad with Sky Sports journalist Mark McAdam breaking the news of the potential deal involving the two clubs this afternoon on twitter.

The news has come slightly out of the blue with Crystal Palace and Huddersfield thought to be the leading players for a young striker with bags of potential. The former Chelsea player has scored bucket loads of goals at England youth level but has failed to make the breakthrough at Anfield and now looks set to leave the club in the search of regular football.
The news comes off of the back of Jermain Defoe being allowed to leave the Vitality Stadium and Eddie Howe is clearly eager to avoid his squad being thin on the ground in terms of strikers.
The worry amongst Bournemouth fans will be that the arrival of Solanke could pave the way for Callum Wilson to leave the club, with Chelsea known to be massive admirers of the England international. The 26-year-old has been the key man up front for Bournemouth this season and would surely love a crack at moving to a bigger club if offered the chance this month.
Cherries fans will be keeping their fingers crossed that Solanke can play with Wilson rather than replacing him.
