Chelsea v Arsenal Features In Our 4 Things To Watch In The Premier League On Saturday

We are only in week two of the Premier League, but the excitement surrounding the greatest league in the world is swamping the sporting world, and there will be six matches taking centre stage on Saturday, and we pick out the four things to watch on what should be a fabulous day of top-flight English football.

1. Chelsea v Arsenal

One of the highlights on the calendar, these two English heavyweights will do battle at 5:30pm and it will see two fledgling Premier League managers pit their wits against each other, and it will see Arsenal attempt to win at Stamford Bridge for the first time since October 2011, where Robin Van Persie bagged a hat-trick for the Gunners in a 5-3 victory.

Chelsea head into the game on the back of a comfortable 3-0 win over Huddersfield Town last weekend, while Arsenal were no match for Manchester City and kicked off their campaign with a 2-0 loss, so while the fixture generator hasn't been kind to the north Londoners they will see Chelsea as a potential opportunity to bounce back from that City defeat, and it should serve up an absolute thriller.

2. Can Harry Kane Break His August Hoodoo?

One of the world's best strikers, Harry Kane showed at the World Cup when winning the Golden Boot that he is a master in front of goal, but the Tottenham Hotspur striker has a real problem scoring goals in August, but the England international will be eager to shine for Spurs against Fulham at 3pm.

Amazingly, Kane has never scored a Premier League goal in the month of August, but as Mauricio Pochettino's men welcome Fulham to Wembley this afternoon then Kane will see it as a perfect chance to break his August duck, and he is sure to come on for last week's match, where they won 2-1 over Newcastle United, and is sure to threaten the Cottagers goal all afternoon.

3. Wolves Look For First Premier League Win At Leicester

Much was expected of Wolverhampton Wanderers this season, as having breezed to the Championship title last season, Nuno Espirito Santo has brought in a whole host of quality performers to Molineux to strengthen his squad, and they started their Premier League campaign last weekend with a gutsy 2-2 draw with Everton on home soil.

Now, Wolves will get on the road to face former Premier League champions Leicester City, who lost to Manchester United on the opening day of the season, and Santo's men will be desperate to pick up their first win of the season, but Claude Puel will be desperate for a win for his Leicester side, as rumours have been circulating that the boss is already under pressure at the Foxes.

4. Warnock and Benitez Clash At Cardiff City Stadium

Neil Warnock and Rafael Benitez haven't seen eye-to-eye in their managerial careers, and Warnock, in particular, holds a significant grudge against Benitez, and their war of words dates back to 2007.  Benitez, then manager of Liverpool, elected to play a weakened team against Fulham in a Premier League game 18 days before the Champions League final with AC Milan.

Warnock, who was at the helm at Sheffield United, voiced his negativity towards Benitez as Fulham won 1-0, and that victory for the Cottagers ultimately saved their Premier League status, and Warnock's Blades were relegated, so it will be interesting to see the pair lock horns in the 12:30pm kick-off at Cardiff City host Newcastle United, and Warnock is still looking to pick up his first win over the Spaniard.
