The home nations learnt their fate over the weekend as the Euro 2024 qualifying groups were drawn, but now their plans for 2023 have been set in stone as the fixtures have been released. Both England and Wales face the trickiest tests possible, as the Three Lions travel to Italy and Rob Page’s men take on Croatia away from home.
England suffered defeat in Italy in the Nations League last month and will hope for a better result in a group that will see them pushed all the way. That match will kick-off at 7.45pm on Thursday, March 23, before they return to Wembley to take on Ukraine. The return fixture against Italy will take place on Tuesday, October 17, while their group concludes with a trip to North Macedonia on Monday, November 20.
Meanwhile Wales, who are hoping to follow up their World Cup qualification with another appearance at the Euros, begin their qualification campaign with a trip to Croatia on Saturday, March 25. Their trip to Turkey will take place on Monday, 19 June while the reverse fixture against Croatia is scheduled for Sunday, 15 October at 7.45pm. Their campaign finishes with a home match against Turkey on Tuesday, 21 November.

Scotland harbour ambitions of making it to back-to-back European Championships and after another Nations League promotion, seem well set to do just that. They begin their fixtures with two home matches, against Cyprus and Spain in March. Then they travel to Norway to take on Erling Haaland and co, while the reverse fixture will conclude their campaign.
Finally Northern Ireland will be hoping to return to a major tournament, and begin with a relatively easy tie away at San Marino on Thursday, March 23. Then they host Finland before a difficult trip to Denmark on Friday, June 16. They host the Danes in the final round of games, on Monday, November 20.
