This is just the third meeting between these sides, having been drawn against each other in the group stage of this competition last season, with both matches going the way of the home side.
Roma vs Real Sociedad

This is the first meeting between these sides in European competition. Roma (5/4) have only lost twice in their previous 33 home ties in Europe, while their manager, Jose Mourinho, has won 14 of his 16 home matches in the Europa League. Sporting CP vs Arsenal

This is the fifth time these sides have met, with Premier League leaders Arsenal (11/10) yet to lose or concede a goal. The Gunners are also unbeaten in six previous meetings with Portuguese opposition. Sporting CP (13/5) meanwhile have progressed in the knockout stages of the UEFA Cup/Europa League in each of their six previous ties with English opposition.
Union Berlin vs Union Saint-Gilloise

Union Berlin (7/10) are unbeaten in their last six in this competition, winning five and conceding just once, and have won their last three at home in Europe. Union Saint-Gilloise (4/1) on the other hand have lost just once in their last six in the Europa League, although that last defeat came at the hands of Union Berlin.
Juventus vs SC Freiburg

This is the first meeting between these sides and the first time Freiburg (5/1) have faced Italian opposition in Europe. Freiburg were one of only three teams to go unbeaten in the group stages with only Real Sociedad conceding fewer goals in that time. Juventus (8/13) have only lost one of their last 16 games in the Europa League.
Man United vs Real Betis

This is the first meeting between these sides in any competition and Real Betis (15/2) will become the 12th Spanish opponent that Manchester United (4/11) have faced in Europe. The Red Devils haven’t lost a first leg in a European knockout match in their last eight while Real Betis have won just one of their last seven knockout matches.
Sevilla vs Fenerbahce

Fenerbahce (16/5) have won just one of their last nine against Spanish opposition in European competition, with their last victory coming in 2008 against Sevilla (5/6). If they avoid defeat, Fenerbahce will equal their longest run without losing in the competition (eight games).
Shakhtar Donetsk v Feyenoord
