Even Without The Ball, Cristiano Ronaldo Is Making Goals For Juventus

We are used to seeing Cristiano Ronaldo score spectacular goals but tonight we were treated to a bit of magic from the Portugese and he didn't even have the ball. He really is that good.

The former Manchester United and Real Madrid star created space for his team-mate Rodrigo Bentancur with an intelligent run which saw him take two Fiorentina defenders out of the game. It meant Bentancur got a clear sight of goal and fire home from 18-yards after a one-two with Paulo Dybala.

Ronaldo completed a good night for him and Juve by scoring from the penalty spot in the closing stages to make it 3-0.

The Unbeaten Serie A leaders Juventus are now 11 points clear at the top of the table. There was also a first goal in 18 months from Giorgio Chiellini.

Ronaldo, who cost Juventus nearly £100million from Real Madrid is the now joint top scorer in Serie A with Genoa's Krzysztof Piatek, a player who has been continually linked with a move to a bigger club because of a sensational start to the season.

Juventus are gunning for their eighth consecutive Italian title and have won 13 of their 14 league games. They have made no secret of their wish to add a Champions League to their trophy cabinet and see Ronaldo as the player who could be the final piece in the jigsaw. Despite a shock 2-1 defeat to Manchester United in Turin last month, they are well placed to progress to the next stage.
