The FA Cup Third Round is well underway and we are here to bring you all of the results so far. We’ve seen some of the big boys safely through, and also a couple of shocks! Here’s how the weekend is unfolding. 

Manchester United 3-1 Everton - FT

Erik ten Hag enjoyed his first FA Cup tie as his side secured a 3-1 win over Frank Lampard’s Everton on Friday night. Marcus Rashford was influential again as he scored a penalty late on, while Conor Coady scored at both ends for the visitors.

Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 Portsmouth - FT

Spurs kept their hopes of winning the FA Cup and ending their 15-year trophy drought alive with a 1-0 win over League One Portsmouth. Harry Kane scored the only goal of the game to go within one goal of Jimmy Greaves’ record of 266 Tottenham Hotspur goals. 

Forest Green Rovers P-P Birmingham City

Our featured Road to Wembley team Forest Green Rovers will have to wait to see if they can cause an FA Cup shock, as their tie with Birmingham was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

Gillingham 0-1 Leicester City - FT

Leicester have suffered FA Cup shocks at Millwall and Newport County in recent years, but there were no issues at Priestfield. They overcame the bottom club in the Football League thanks to a goal from Kelechi Iheanacho in the second half.

Preston North End 3-1 Huddersfield Town - FT

PNE won their first FA Cup Third Round tie in five seasons against Championship strugglers Huddersfield after a glut of second half goals. Florian Kamberi had put the visitors ahead but a Tom Lees own goal was followed up by strikes from Bambo Diaby and Alan Browne. 

Crystal Palace 1-2 Southampton - FT

Nathan Jones gets a much-needed win thanks to goals from James Ward-Prowse and Adam Armstrong. The away fans were singing loudly against their manager in the first half after Odsonne Edouard had put Palace in front, but the Saints are into the hat for the Fourth Round. 

Reading 2-0 Watford - FT

Watford could have done without this game given their current injury crisis and it showed on the pitch as Paul Ince’s Reading beat them 2-0, thanks to goals from Kelvin Abrefa and Shane Long. 

Blackpool 4-1 Nottingham Forest - FT

Steve Cooper made 11 changes for this one and Marvin Ekpiteta put the Tangerines in front. In the second half, Ian Poveda doubled the lead before CJ Hamilton made it three and Blackpool were well on their way to the Fourth Round. Jerry Yates added a fourth to round off a truly remarkable afternoon for Blackpool, before Ryan Yates joined his namesake on the scoreline with a consolation goal, but Forest are out of the FA Cup. 

Boreham Wood 1-1 Accrington Stanley - FT

Everton loanee Ryan Astley gave the League One side the lead against the National League outfit, but Lee Ndlovu secured an equaliser with 12 minutes to play to force a replay. 

Bournemouth 2-4 Burnley - FT

A thriller at the Vitality. These two teams could swap divisions come May, but the visitors deserved their win. Burnley star Manuel Benson put them 1-0 up, before Ryan Christie equalised for the Cherries. However Anass Zaroury put the Championship leaders back in front before the break and then extended the lead with his second of the afternoon. Dom Solanke pulled one back early in the second half but Benson made it four for Vincent Kompany's high-flyers. 

Chesterfield 3-3 West Bromwich Albion - FT

Brandon Thomas-Asante gave the visitors an early lead before the National League side equalised thanks to Tyrone Williams. WBA forward Karlan Grant put the Championship side back in front before the underdogs roared back. They sit 3rd in the league and a brace from Armando Dobra turned the tie around before the break! However, in the 93rd minute when it looked like we would have an FA Cup shock, Thomas-Asante scored yet again to secure a replay and spare WBA's blushes. 

Middlesbrough 1-5 Brighton - FT

Pascal Gross opened the scoring for the Premier League outfit, but Michael Carrick’s Boro side levelled things through an own goal from goalkeeper Jason Steele. Adam Lallana restored the lead for the Seagulls, as Roberto De Zerbi took charge of his first FA Cup tie. World Cup winner Alexis Mac Allister came off the bench at half-time to add a third with a wonderful finish before making it four, and then Deniz Undav made it five. This was a handsome win against a full strength Boro side that have looked so impressive in recent weeks. The Seagulls are flying.

Millwall 0-2 Sheffield United - FT

Daniel Jebbison gave the Blades the lead in this all-Championship clash, before Jayden Bogle doubled the visitors' lead. That was enough to secure their passage into the Fourth Round. 

Hull City 0-2 Fulham - FT

Poor goalkeeping from Matt Ingram and PSG loanee Layvin Kurzawa took full advantage to put Fulham ahead. Dan James made it two in injury time as the Premier League side make it through relatively comfortably.

Fleetwood Town 2-1 Queens Park Rangers - FT

Sam Field put QPR in front at Highbury before Aristote Nsiala equalised for the Cod Army. Then in the second half, Promise Omochere completed the turnaround for the League One and Scott Brown's men held on to secure a big win. 

Ipswich Town 4-1 Rotherham United - FT

Midfielder Cameron Humphreys put the League One giants in front at Portman Road, just before the break. Conor Washington equalised from the penalty spot for Matt Taylor's team but another penalty, this time for the home side, was converted by Conor Chaplin to put them 2-1 up. Then Freddie Ladapo sealed their spot in the next round and Wes Burns added the extras.

Shrewsbury Town 1-2 Sunderland - FT

Matthew Pennington scored late on to put Shrewsbury in front against Championship promotion hopefuls Sunderland. However, Ross Stewart bagged a 92nd minute equaliser and then Luke O'Nien scored in the 94th minute to break Salop hearts and secure a dramatic turnaround late on.

Coventry City 3-4 Wrexham - FT

The tie of the round. National League Wrexham secured a major win against ten-man Coventry, and you can read how it all unfolded here.

Brentford 0-1 West Ham United - FT

Said Benrahma scored the only goal fo the game to take David Moyes' side through. 

Grimsby Town 1-0 Burton Albion - FT

Grimsby got past struggling Burton Albion to book their spot in round four. 

Luton Town 1-1 Wigan Athletic - FT

A replay is needed between these two as Harry Cornick scored his first goal of the season for Luton. 

Sheffield Wednesday 2-1 Newcastle United - FT

Wednesday pulled off a huge win over Premier League Newcastle as Josh Windass scored twice for the League One side.

Liverpool 1-1 Wolverhampton Wanderers (8pm)
