Gabriel Martinelli is still a bargain buy
Arsenal look like serious title contenders this year and every player is playing their part. One of the standout stars in Mikel Arteta’s team is Brazilian attacker Gabriel Martinelli who scored and assisted in their recent victory over Liverpool. In 10 Premier League appearances this term, Martinelli has scored four goals and registered three assists, becoming one of the best attacking players in the division.
With his FPL price starting the season at £6.0m, he is available now for £6.6m. If you haven’t added him to your team yet, now might be the time to. He is almost certain to keep contributing goals and assists for the Gunners and you will want to get him in before he becomes too expensive.
Philip Billing could be worth a punt
We have all been surprised at just how well AFC Bournemouth have done since Gary O’Neil took over as interim boss following Scott Parker’s departure. The Cherries are unbeaten in their last five, winning twice. One player who has benefited in this run is Danish midfielder Philip Billing, who has found the back of the net on three occasions.
With games against Fulham and Southampton coming up, he could prove to be a shrewd pick at £5.3m.
Gianluca Scamacca is ready for selection
The next two gameweeks come in quick succession, with some Premier League clubs in action the midweek following this weekend. West Ham United are one of the sides who will be in action twice, and their striker Gianluca Scamacca has been hitting form recently. The Italian has scored six goals in all competitions this term and, while only two have come in the Premier League, they have come in his last two appearances.
The Hammers’ next two fixtures are against Southampton (A) and Liverpool (A), and given how vulnerable Liverpool’s back line is at the moment, he could be set to inflict more misery on Reds boss Jurgen Klopp. He is priced at £6.7m.
