Foden is City’s best FPL asset besides Haaland
If you are looking to add a little bit more pizazz into your midfield then Manchester City star Phil Foden is your man. The midfielder has been performing on a different level in recent weeks and it has seen him pick up the most FPL points over the past five gameweeks.
He has been involved in six goals in the last five matches which highlights that he is a man in-form right now. Foden will certainly want to keep contributing goals and assists for his side as he looks to cement his place in the England team with the World Cup now just being 30 days away.
City host Brighton & Hove Albion this weekend, who are still searching for a win under Roberto De Zerbi. Due to Pep Guardiola’s talent-filled attack, we expect that search to continue, and Foden could play a starring role.
Eberechi Eze has some tasty fixtures coming up
Crystal Palace have been turning up the gears in recent weeks, winning two of their last three matches, and Eze has been on the scoresheet twice. The talented midfielder will have certainly gained confidence after getting off the mark for the campaign, and he could be set to enjoy more goal involvements with Everton (A) and Southampton (H) coming up next.
Eze is priced at £5.6m
All-star Alisson
It has been a great week for Liverpool’s number one goalkeeper Alisson Becker. Not only did he get the assist for Mohamed Salah’s stunning match-winner against Manchester City on Sunday, he followed it up with a stunning penalty save to deny Jarrod Bowen in their victory over West Ham United.
Next up for the Reds is Nottingham Forest at the City Ground. We all know that they are still struggling to adjust to the demands of the top-flight, and Alisson might just be set to capitalise on that by achieving another impressive points haul.
