After a mixed bag of results last week The Sportsman's weekend accumulator is back again hoping for the first clean sweep of the season. Here is what our team has opted for this weekend.
Ipswich Town to beat Queens Park Rangers and No (Both Teams To Score) - 11/5
Ipswich are one of two sides with a 100 per cent record in the Championship so far and their return to the second tier has been most impressive. Kieran McKenna’s side have beaten last year’s play-off semi-finalists Sunderland and a reinforced Stoke City in what were two tough fixtures to kickstart the season.
Queens Park Rangers got off the mark against Cardiff City last time out but questions still remain over Gareth Ainsworth’s position in charge. The Tractor Boys’ winning run could continue in west London this weekend as they look to extend their current unbeaten run to 22 games.
Oxford United to beat Barnsley and Yes (Both Teams To Score) - 11/2
Oxford United appear to be clicking with Liam Manning’s style of play after posting an impressive 2-1 victory at Derby County in midweek and they will face another test this weekend against promotion hopefuls Barnsley, who are coming off the back of a 3-1 home defeat against Peterborough United. Momentum is with Oxford right now and another impressive away victory could be on the cards.
Over 2.5 goals in Fulham v Brentford - 10/11
It feels like there might be some goals in store in this west London derby. Brentford fired two past Tottenham Hotspur last time out while Fulham edged past Everton 1-0. Interestingly, both meetings last year ended 3-2 with each side picking up three points on home soil. Neutrals will be hoping for more of the same this term between these two sides.
Over 3.5 goals in Blackburn Rovers v Hull City - 9/4
Both these sides have had half-decent starts to the season, each winning one of their two opening fixtures. Hull City defeated Sheffield Wednesday 4-2 last time out while Blackburn Rovers were held to a 2-2 draw with Rotherham United. They have shown that they can each score goals so there is confidence that this match can produce a goal fest this Saturday.
