''Horrible Results'' Leeds United Fans React As They Drop Down To Third After Norwich And Sheffield United Wins

Leeds United have today been knocked off the top of the Championship after Norwich City beat Bolton 4-0 away from home, with Leeds not playing this weekend. Things got worse for the Leeds fans as fellow promotion contenders Sheffield United and West Brom also bagged important wins against tough opposition, with the Blades leapfrogging them in the table, for now.

Sheffield United have lost just one game in the league since early December, a run of form that has seen them storm up the Championship table and overtake the high-flying Leeds. The Elland Road club do have a game in hand, and a win in that game would restore them back to the top of the table, although the other clubs are applying pressure.

The Leeds fans are getting slightly nervy, as you can see from their reactions below. A season of such promise, must end in promotion for the Yorkshire club, otherwise it will be deemed a massive disappointment.

‘Teams like Bolton and Reading step up massively when they play us but roll over against our promotion rivals.’ @Dom_Chodzynski

‘That goal difference is worrying. We have to absolutely bury teams when we have them on the ropes’ @Steve_jennings

‘Blades showing the sort of efficiency in front of goal that Bielsa has been talking about finding at #lufc 10 shots on target from 14 attempts and 4 goals!’ @DaveLUFCWatkins

‘We really need to give Bolton an absolute pasting at Elland Rd next week now.’ @nickweston87

‘People losing their sh*t over today's results,it's still in our hands, the players have to deliver like they've done nearly all season so far’ @Slaven167

‘Horrible results for us today but we have to do the business next week now against Bolton and it’s back in our hands! Can’t slip up now with the way Sheff United are playing’ @carlsmith_88
