What a time to be a Tottenham Hotspur fan.
Second in the Premier League, in the last 16 of the Champions League and a stunning new stadium to look forward to.
While work on the old White Hart Lane site has taken much longer than anticipated, this latest footage to emerge on YouTube today suggests the wait will be well worth it.
The construction of the site has been beset with delays forcing the club to make Wembley their home venue for the first part of the season. The first game at the new stadium has still to be confirmed but there's increasing evidence that it's going to be weeks rather than months until the amazing facility opens its doors.
Spurs fan Chris Cowlin has been documenting the construction of the stadium through his regular videos on YouTube. His latest update - filmed only today - shows a rare glimpse at some of the hospitality areas, the press box and the huge bank of seats behind the goal which has drawn comparisons with the famed "Wall Of Yellow" at Borussia Dortmund.
Chris couldn't contain his excitement in this latest upload, saying: "It will be absolutely incredible". He entered the stadium via the West Stand affording viewers a goosebump inducing view of what will be Spurs' new home.
The plush hospitality areas and refreshment zones look like they are ready for business and large expanses of glass give the areas a bright and airy feel. A belated Christmas present for the Spurs faithful!
