Jamie Carragher Is Back For Sky Sports And Beats Gary Neville In Liverpool Shirt Wearing Dare

The Premier League season is nearly back and as Sky Sports produced their launch and announced Jamie Carragher back into the fold, the former Liverpool man was in good spirits beating fellow summariser Gary Neville in a penalty shootout.

Suspended towards the end of last season by Sky following phone coverage emerged of Carragher spitting at a Man Utd fan from his car, the former centre-back has served his time and was full of beans beating Neville, whose forfeit was to wear a Liverpool shirt.

Neville isn't known for his goalscoring prowess and in truth it was a pathetic effort that Carragher saved with his mid-drift before slotting home with ease from the spot himself.

Carragher joked, "I'll buy it" and told his former Manchester United playing rival that he has to get a shirt with Carragher 23 on the back, before changing his mind to "Shaquiri number 23, because you hate Shaquiri!" - Neville was quick to defend himself - "I like Shaquiri!".

It was good to get the pair back together and we can expect more banter throughout the season, which kicks off on Friday night as Manchester United take on Leicester City at Old Trafford. United have had a tough pre-season with plenty of transfer speculation regarding players in and out of the club. Time will tell whether Jose Mourinho gets his man Harry Maguire from Friday's visitors before Thursday's 5pm transfer deadline.

You can watch the video here, the big kick off is on Friday night at 8pm.
