It's no secret that former Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes has not been particularly impressed by Paul Pogba since the Frenchman returned to Old Trafford in the summer of 2016 for a then world record fee of £89.3million.

In his latest rant Scholes, who appeared as a BT Sport pundit for United's clash at Bournemouth on Wednesday night, slammed Pogba's poor performance in the shock defeat to West Brom over the weekend, stating that it was disrespectful to both his boss Jose Mourinho and also his Red Devils teammates.

Only a week prior Pogba had enjoyed a spectacular second-half showing in the Manchester Derby, when he bagged a brace as the club came from behind to stun Man City 3-2, and in turn prevent Pep Guardiola’s men from winning the Premier League title at the Etihad.

However, in his following fixture Pogba was simply woeful against the Baggies - who shocked United 1-0 meaning they handed City the title on a plate - with Mourinho hauling him off after only 58 minutes.

An infuriated Scholes then let his frustrations known in the build-up to United's south coast clash with Bournemouth, citing a breakdown in relations between Pogba and Mourinho as an issue of major concern.

Scholes, who won 25 trophies during his time at the club, was also asked if he thought Pogba would leave Man Utd in the summer, to which he replied: “Yeah I think he could."

Pogba went on to start against the Cherries, but only time will tell whether Mourinho decides to include him in his starting-11 this weekend for the FA Cup semi-final against Tottenham.
