Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City romped to the Premier League title last season with a whopping 100 points, breaking several records on the way. It seems their remarkable performance has also had a big impact on the FIFA ratings this year as their squad looks absolutely packed full of talent.
Kevin De Bruyne rules the roost as the highest rated player, coming in with a 91 overall. His passing is 92 whilst his shooting is 86 making him one of the most dangerous midfielders on the game. He is according to FIFA, the best passer currently playing world football which means he will be highly sort after in Ultimate Team this year.
David Silva comes in with an 89 rating alongside City’s main goalscorer Sergio Aguero, who also looks dangerous this season. Leroy Sane, Fernandinho and Nicolas Otamendi are all rated at 86 and Sane’s pace is 95, making him one of the speediest players on the game.
Raheem Sterling and Riyad Mahrez are both rated at 85 but it is the Englishman’s shooting rating that has got most City fans annoyed. Last season he was rated at 82 overall and had a shooting rating of 71 whereas this season despite his increase of three overall, his shooting is now only 73. This is a shocking stat given the England man scored 18 goals in 33 Premier League games last season.
