Manchester United Manager José Mourinho Predicts Incredible Messi/ Ronaldo World Cup Final!

Just one day before the World Cup begins, excitement levels have risen exponentially, managers have shockingly departed, and José Mourinho, currently flying over to Russia, has chipped in once again with his opinion for the outcome of the tournament.

The Manchester Untied manager, in collaboration with RT, is back to his transparent board to select the knock-out stage matches and the match-up in the final of this year’s World Cup in Russia.

Having predicted Portugal/ Brazil and Argentina/ Germany semi-finals, Mourinho selects Messrs Messi and Ronaldo to meet in the Final at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow on the 15th July.

The Portuguese manager just ‘has to’ select his home nation and ‘knows what [he] wants’ with their opponents.

With Portugal and Argentina as the last two standing Mourinho is visibly torn between his heart and his head as befits such an ‘emotional job’, and instead of choosing an outright winner, suggests that the final with go to penalties, with Messi and Ronaldo each bagging a goal.

He leaves the ultimate result to the viewers’ imaginations.

The third-place play-off match sees Brazil enacting revenge upon Germany. In 2014, Joachim Löw’s side ran riot to knock the hosts out 7-1 in the Last Four, to eventually go on to win the Final in Rio de Janeiro.

The Portuguese concedes that the two finalists probably won’t even make it out of the group phase, but his disparaging of his own talent is quickly rectified with an appearance by…another Jose Mourinho.

Oh, and England are beaten once again in the Quarter-Finals by Brazil. David Seaman look away now.
