David de Gea produced one of the finest goalkeeping displays in recent memory as the Manchester United goalkeeper helped the Red Devils bag a fine 1-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley.
With Marcus Rashford having given United the lead in the first-half, de Gea was forced to pull out a catalogue of fine saves to deny the likes of Harry Kane and Dele Alli, and in total de Gea made a whopping ELEVEN saves in the second half to ensure United left the home of English football with a clean sheet.
Unsurprisingly, fans and pundits were heaping praise on de Gea's performance, and he was rightly given the man of the match award at the end of the game, but while de Gea maintained Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's 100% start since his arrival at Old Trafford, it was the United fans that were quick to heap praise on de Gea in the aftermath of the Red Devils' victory.
Check out a few social media posts from some of the past and present Manchester United players, who were quick to thank de Gea for a sparkling display between the sticks to enhance United's claims of grabbing a top-four spot.

On the way home the Utd defenders should be carrying De Gea’s luggage, cutting up his food and pouring him a lovely glass of wine!!! π€£ [BrianMcClair13]
