Former Liverpool boss Graeme Souness has sounded off yet again about Manchester United's World Cup winning midfielder Paul Pogba.
The Frenchman has been the target of Souness' anger before and in his latest rant he has questioned the player's motives for staying at Manchester United.
Souness has repeatedly criticised Pogba during his role as a pundit on Sky Sports and in today's Sunday Times he doesn't hold back. He said: "Paul Pogba plays for himself, it's all about how cool he looks, showing us how clever he is.
"I reckon Pogba's only in the team to maintain his transfer value until United can sell him because he doesn't merit his place for any other reason.
"Perhaps we're now seeing the selfish player Fergie didn't fancy the first time round?"
Pogba was linked with a move away from Old Trafford during the summer and his stock appeared to be rising as he impressed for France during their ultimately successful World Cup run. He was consistently outstanding for the French team leaving many United fans to wonder why he couldn't produce such performances consistently while wearing the red shirt.
At the end of last season, Pogba's relationship with boss Jose Mourinho seemed fragile and there were reports of the two disagreeing about tactics. However, Pogba started the new campaign as United skipper and scored in the opening game against Leicester from the penalty spot. But even that wasn't without its controversy - his almost comical run-up to the spot kick attracted plenty of criticism.
