Paul Pogba has revealed he views fellow Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick as his mentor at the club, as well as former Red Paul Scholes.
The French international is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury he picked up against FC Basel in the Champions League, a competition he will be looking to capture in order to emulate the likes of Carrick and Scholes at the Theatre of Dreams.
Carrick is United's current longest serving player with 11 years at Old Trafford following his arrival from Tottenham in 2006. His wealth of experience and knowledge of the game seems to be rubbing off on the French international.
While Scholes was at United during Pogba's first stint at the club before he joined Juventus in 2012.
The 24-year-old admitted he watches Carrick in training and always listens to his advice before a game, while he noted the influence of Scholes when he was younger.

Legend!
"I’ve learned from Paul Scholes and Michael,’ the club's record signing told United’s matchday programme.
"I’m still learning from Michael. He is an example for me and I always look at him in training. I listen to his advice – every time, before a game, he comes to talk to me and he will ask me things and keep me calm.
"To be honest, he is a mentor to me and someone I look up to."
He added: "Scholesy may not be here anymore but when I was younger I was looking at him a lot as a midfielder.
"To come on for him in his testimonial as a young player was a dream come true."
Carrick captained United in their 4-1 win over Burton Albion on Wednesday night and there are likely to be further opportunities for Carrick to feature following Pogba's injury.
