Watford and Bournemouth played out one of the most entertaining games of the season last night as they scored five goals in just 13 first half minutes in a chaotic first half. Watford captain Troy Deeney fired the visitors into a two-goal lead before the hosts got back on level terms thanks to goals from Nathan Ake and Callum Wilson.
Ken Sema then put Watford back in front just 85 seconds later as Deeney continued to cause the Cherries problems before Ryan Fraser brought the hosts back level and ended the scoring just a minute later.
It was a feisty encounter between the two sides with the Watford captain Deeney accusing Bournemouth midfielder Dan Gosling of trying ‘to do Tom Cleverley’ after the game whilst he also took aim at the referee saying ‘he bottled it.’
Honesty is something you will always get from the English striker and he was big enough to admit his side should have had a red card of their own when Abdoulaye Doucoure went in late on Ryan Fraser, the man who drew the attention after the game due to this amazing reaction.
It came when Deeney accused the ref of bottling it and the Scottish international was left surprised by his open criticism of the official, raising his eyebrows in shock. The game may have been a belter but social media have been loving this reaction.
Unfortunately for Deeney, he is probably going to get reprimanded by the Premier League for his comments about the official but we love to see this sort of honesty in the game. You can watch Fraser’s amazing reaction down below.
