Liverpool have been handed a huge boost ahead of their crunch Champions League clash against PSG after Adrien Rabiot was sensationally dropped from the the French side's squad, moments before the game is due to kick-off.
The midfielder, who has been frequently linked with a move to the Premier League, has reportedly been embroiled in a huge spat with boss Thomas Tuchel who has subsequently axed the player from his match-day squad, meaning he won't play any part in the pivotal clash tonight.
As reported by sports Journalist Mootaz Chehade, who tweeted:
Adrien Rabiot won't be appearing on the bench for PSG tonight vs. Liverpool, after a clash between him and Thomas Tuchel just a couple of hours before kick off.
Whether or not Rabiot let slip that he has his sights set on a switch to Liverpool is anyone's guess. The Frenchman is reportedly a target for a number of English sides, who could well be involved in a transfer battle come the New Year.
But if Rabiot was hoping to impress any potential suitors he's had that opportunity snatched away from his grasp.
Liverpool head into tonight's showcase spectacle knowing that a win in Paris will see them secure a spot in the Champions League knockout stages.
Some of the finest attacking players on the planet will take to the field at the Parc des Princes tonight, and it's a case of take your pick in the first goalscorer market, with the home trio of Edinson Cavani, Neymar, and Kylian Mbpappe all priced at 4/1 to break the deadlock, while Mo Salah can be backed at 5/1.
