Mo Salah is fresh off the back of two goals in the Champions League in midweek but according to some, all is not well with the Egyptian.

The Liverpool forward has ripped up the Premier League since arriving from Roma last year but his form this campaign continues to be questioned despite the former Chelsea man continuing to build an excellent goal scoring record.

The 26-year-old hasn't quite looked himself in front of goal and Paul Merson, who is known for his interesting takes, has questioned his happiness at Anfield according to the Daily Star.

Salah doesn't look happy at Liverpool at the moment and we've seen this before. I watched him score against Huddersfield and his body language looked terrible. That would worry me if I was a Liverpool fan."

The former Arsenal star believes Liverpool should be worried, especially if one of the big a Liga giants come knocking on their door in the near future.

Mo Salah's goals record for Liverpool is phenomenal but it's only a matter of time until Real Madrid come calling

Barcelona have been the scourge of Liverpool fans in recent years with Luis Suarez and Coutinho trading Anfield for the Nou Camp, and Merson believes that Salah could be heading to the other big team in La Liga.

Talk of a potential Salah departure is extremely premature, especially when you think he has just become the fastest Liverpool player to 50 goals but the spectre of Madrid does loom in the background. Los Blancos will surely be looking to make a huge investment next summer and if Paul Merson is right, then the Egyptian King could be top of their shopping list.
