Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang couldn't have dreamt of a better start to life at Arsenal, as he's seamlessly integrated and adapted to working within the confines of his new club.

Joining for a club record fee of £56 million from Borussia Dortmund in January, where he remarkably found the back of the net a whopping 141 times over the course of his four-and-a-half-years in Germany, he's impressively hit the ground running. The scorer of nine goals and supplier of four assists already in just 12 Premier League appearances, the Gabonese international has undoubtedly vindicated Arsenal's decision to splash the cash on him.

Adding dynamism, pace, technical quality and intelligent movement, the former Saint-Etienne whizz has given the Gunners another dimension going forward. Moreover, his crafty finishing and unpredictability has seen him add another layer of menace to his opposition.

Typically at home operating in the centre forward slot, it's been encouraging to see him shine when deployed out wide too, where he's given licence to cut infield and drive at his opponents in favourable 1v1 isolation scenarios. Indeed, courtesy of his multifaceted skill set, he unsurprisingly is a massive challenge in these individual duels, for he can beat his marker in a multiplicity of ways.

By performing astute switches with his fellow attackers, this has only enhanced his menace for his adversaries, for he persistently alters defenders' reference points. Moreover, this interchanging of positions has importantly meant he can spend solid spells playing in his favoured central striking role, where his frightening pace and magnificently timed runs in behind can be used in particularly dangerous areas.

Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, has duly been full of praise for the 28-year-old, but it was interesting to hear how taken he's been with his masterful movement, saying:

"I like the quality of his movement I must say. He is always looking to go in spaces that are very difficult for the defenders to cover. When we know him better and understand him better, I think he will be more dangerous."

As the Wenger era comes to an end against Huddersfield Town this weekend, Aubameyang will not only be desperate to continue his rich vein of form and give the genial Frenchman a send off to remember, but also to excel again to give him some additional momentum heading into next season.
