Sergio Ramos Takes A Not-So-Subtle Dig At Mo Salah

The rivalry between football icons Sergio Ramos and Mo Salah appears to have gone up another notch after Ramos' latest antics on social media.

The Spaniard, who infamously injured Salah during the Champions League final forcing the teary Liverpool player to depart the pitch, has posted a picture of himself on Twitter, which has unsurprisingly raised a few eyebrows.

The picture shows a shirtless Ramos with his thumbs up and...a bandaged shoulder - the body part Salah injured back during the 3-1 defeat in Ukraine - with the caption:

"No days off".

It could well be that the Real Madrid legend is just updating fans on his progress after picking up the knock, however it's inevitably led to chatter that he's having a cheeky dig at Salah.

As always, Twitter has reacted the only way it knows how...

Do you realise how much love Man Utd fans have for you Sergio. (@jackdobbie1)

Do Liverpool fans charge Ramos rent to live in their head? (@ryanjdav)

Ramos apparently makes fun of Salah. He just needs to focus more on stopping opposing forwards from making fun of him on the pitch this season (@HatemMaher)

Meanwhile, Salah finished 6th in the Ballon d'Or list, ahead of rival Ramos who came down in 19th, alongside another Liverpool player in Roberto Firmino.

Providing Liverpool make it through to the Champions League knockout stages, we could soon have a mouthwatering rematch on the cards in the latter stages of the competition.
