The Sportsman are delighted to announce that we will be bringing you even more live and exclusive rugby league action this weekend when we stream the Betfred Women’s Challenge Cup quarter-final between York City Knights and Wigan Warriors this Sunday on our website, YouTube and Facebook channels.
Following on from our successful streaming of several ties from the men’s Challenge Cup this season, including Wigan’s win at York in the third round, The Sportsman’s free coverage will also include the draw for the semi finals, which are set to be played on Saturday May 22.
The game, which will be played at the Mobile Rocket Stadium in Wakefield, kicking off at 12pm, will be the first for York since unveiling a new coaching and management team including the England and former Castleford coach Lindsay Anfield, and Adam Cuthbertson, who coached Leeds Rhinos to the double of the Betfred Women’s Super League and Challenge Cup in 2019 before joining the City Knights’ Betfred Championship squad as a player.
The York-Wigan tie will be followed by the holders Leeds Rhinos facing Bradford Bulls at 3.30pm, also at the Mobile Rocket Stadium, while the other two quarter-finals will be played at the Victoria Park Asics Stadium, starting with Warrington Wolves versus Castleford Tigers at noon and is followed by St Helens versus Featherstone Rovers at 3.30pm.
