This Is The Horrifying Red Star Belgrade 'Tunnel Of Doom' That Liverpool Players Must Attempt To Survive Unscathed

Liverpool maintained their unbeaten start to the Premier League season after drawing with Arsenal on Sunday, but now the focus returns to Europe on Tuesday when the Reds make the tricky trip over to Serbia where they lock horns with Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League.

Much has been made of the reception Liverpool will face when they arrive at the infamous Rajko Mitić Stadium, also known as the Marakana, and this video of the intimidating tunnel located inside its enclosure will send shivers down your spine.

It’s a literal ‘Welcome To Hell’ as players make the daunting 90-second walk through the post-apocalyptic tunnel which not only shakes, but is extremely claustrophobic and is splattered with graffiti, daunting steps, and let’s not forget the abundance of fierce looking armed guards who refuse to budge.

It really is like something out of your worst nightmare, and a world away from the modern day facilities at Premier League stadiums, however this is exactly what the Liverpool players must survive when they attempt to walk out to the pitch unscathed.

Worst still, when - or if - Jurgen Klopp’s troops survive this dystopian horror and make it out onto the field of play then they will then be 'greeted' by one of the most hostile atmospheres in European football.

Liverpool currently top Group C at the halfway stage with six points from three matches, ahead of Napoli on five points, and PSG on four points, whereas Red Star are rock-bottom and winless.

However, if the Serbian side can get in Liverpool’s heads before the game, then they could have every chance of conjuring up a shock win, and in turn force the group wide open.
