Tottenham Ace Could Return Earlier Than Expected After Positive Injury Update

Despite once again not signing any players during a transfer window, Tottenham fans will be boosted by the news that their star man Harry Kane looks to be making good progress as he recovers from his torn ankle ligament.

Kane has been out in the sunshine of North America as completing a recovery plan put together by Spurs’ medical team and he looked to be moving freely in this latest video. The clip, uploaded by Kane onto Twitter, shows the 25-year-old going through a few drills, as he looks to strengthen his ankle and get full movement back.

He is also looking to keep his fitness up so he can come back into the action as soon as he is given the green light from the medical team. The caption read: “Getting stronger every day. Lots more work to do”

Kane was suspected to be out until March with his injury but this video along with his recent recovery records from injuries mean we could well be seeing him back before then, although he will not be rushed back by manager Mauricio Pochettino.  The North London derby on the third of March looks to be a solid target for Kane’s return, with the second leg of their Champions League tie in Dortmund just three days later.

Dele Alli also looks to be aiming for those two games to return, having been ruled out for six weeks with a hamstring injury. For both players, having played in a long World Cup campaign for England and then gone straight into a long season with Spurs, they need to make the most of this rest and hopefully, they will come back on top form, sharp and back to their best.
