''We Want Bruce Out'' - Angry Aston Villa Fans Slam The Manager Following Another Championship Draw

Aston Villa's woeful start to the Championship season continued with a 1-1 draw at Bristol City and the restless Villa fans took to Twitter to vent their fury at manager Steve Bruce.

The Villans boss has come in for criticism following a dismal run that has seen Villa win just one of their nine games in all competitions since they beat Yeovil 1-0 in the EFL Cup on 14th August.

Five draws, three defeats and a sole victory against lowly Rotherham have followed, with plenty of supporters questioning the wisdom of continuing with Bruce following their failure to win at Ashton Gate on Friday night.

FT 1-1 Boos from the away end. Aside from a 15 minute spell at the start of the second half, another turgid, flat and uninspiring performance from Villa, Bristol poor and were there for the taking. #AVFC [@HeartOfTheHolte]

This has to be curtains  So fed up. Negative. Boring. Clueless. Same old spiel from him [Bruce]. #AVFC [@mattlynnch]

Bruce received plenty of criticism for his decision to replace striker Jonathan Kodjia with winger Yannick Bolasie when the scoreline was 1-1 after 75 minutes, and he then brought off his only recognised forward, Tammy Abraham, in favour of midfielder Albert Adomah in the 91st minute.

Bruce takes both strikers off to secure a point in the Championship. Typical of how cowardly he is #avfc [@ShelleyOzzy]

When Bruce said we'd be There or Therabouts at the end of the season, we didn't think he meant relegation. 3 wins in 10 League games, 8 in the last 23. That's relegation form #AVFC [@r1chuck]
