Where Is The Betting Value In The Europa League Final Between Sevilla And Roma?

Can Jose Mourinho stop serial winners Sevilla from lifting a seventh Europa League title?
16:00, 29 May 2023

Jose Mourinho is hoping to guide Roma to a second European title in as many years this week as they take on record holders Sevilla in the Europa League final in Budapest.

Mourinho has won this competition once before with Manchester United back in 2016-17, but he will face a tougher challenge this time around as he comes up against the side that have dominated this competition over the past 20 years with six titles. Mourinho, however, has won all five of his previous European finals as a manager so this battle is set-up to be a cracker.

With the eyes of the world on the Puskas Arena for this exciting showpiece on Wednesday night, we take a look at where the betting value could lie between the two sides.

Match Result

Sevilla: 13/8, Roma: 15/8, Draw 2/1

Method of victory

Sevilla in extra time - 11/1

Sevilla on penalties - 8/1

Roma in extra time - 12/1

Roman on penalties - 8/1

Betfred's Europa League markets*

Sevilla have failed to score in just two of their eight Europa League fixtures in 2022-23. They have scored over 1.5 goals in five of them. Over 1.5 Sevilla goals is priced at 2/1.

Roma have scored the third highest number of goals in the Europa League this term with 20 in 14 matches. They themselves have scored over 1.5 goals in six of their games. You can get 9/4 on Over 1.5 Roma goals with Betfred.

Sevilla have scored first in nine of their last 12 matches in all competitions. They are EVS to find the back of the net first on Wednesday night.

If you fancy Roma to win and a minimum of two goals scored in the game inside 90 minutes, you can get Roma and Over 1.5 goals at 3/1. If you think the same but for serial winners Sevilla, Betfred are offering 13/5.

If you are unsure on the result but are confident on both teams finding the back of the net, both teams to score is 11/10.

If you feel that the contest will be goalless inside 90 minutes, you can get no goalscorer at 6/1.

Cards

Roma defenders Gianluca Mancini and Roger Ibanez are the most yellow carded players in the Europa League in 2022-23 with six. They are valued at 6/4 and 13/8 respectively to go into the book.
