Wolverhampton Wanderers have confirmed the £15.4 million signing of striker Sasa Kalajdzic from VFB Stuttgart.
The forward has signed a five-year deal with the West Midlands outfit, with the option of a further year. Manager Bruno Lage has pushed hard to bring the player on board as he has been in desperate need of attacking reinforcements to support Raul Jimenez.
After his side were held to a 1-1 draw with Newcastle United on Sunday, the Portuguese coach reiterated that he needed another forward as his side have scored just twice from their opening four league matches.

Kalajdzic was keen on moving to Molineux as he had asked to be left out of the Stuttgart squad in their match against Koln at the weekend. In 57 Bundesliga appearances, the 25-year-old scored on 23 occasions.
He brings to Wolves plenty of height as he stands at 6’ 7” and with some creative wingers around him, there is likely going to be an increase in aerial balls played into the box for him to meet. Kalajdzic is an international for Austria, having been capped by his country 15 times.
Wolves currently have a striker sent out on loan with Fabio Silva spending the season with Anderlecht, while Italian forward Patrick Cutrone has joined Como on a permanent deal. Kalajdizic’s arrival sees the club's spending surpass £100 million following the arrivals of record-signing Matheus Nunes, Goncalo Guedes, Nathan Collins and Hwang Hee-chan.
