You Can Now Buy This Diabolical Manchester United Concept Shirt

They told us they were concept kits. They told us they were just for digital purposes. But the insane kits which EA Sports and adidas designed for FIFA have gone on sale today. And they are just, well, ridiculous.

We have got used to adidas designers going a bit nuts with the third kits in recent seasons and we barely batted an eye when Manchester United launched a powder pink away kit.

But the lime green and black leopard print shirt which has the Manchester United badge on it really did drive supporters mad, sending social media into a meltdown. United are not the other team to get this special treatment - adidas have done something'special' for all their flagship teams.

Real Madrid's concept kit looks like a starry sky and is actually quite tasteful while the Juventus design has a tie-dye feel about. The concept kit for Bayern Munich looks like a raging volcano and again, from a distance, it looks okay.

You may be relieved to know that the "digital fourth kits" will never be worn in a game and have been produced purely as a promo for EA Sports.

Despite the radical designs, there will be no shortage of fans wanted to part with their cash for these jerseys which are bound to become collectors items. Websites put the shirts on sale this morning and you can expect to pay around £90 for them.

It'd be hard to imagine these shirts out on the pitch but stranger things have happened.
