It is fair to say that Chris Eubank Jr and Billy Joe Saunders are not the best of friends and their old rivalry has once again flared up in a furious twitter spat.
The two British boxers fought in the ring back in 2017 with Saunders coming out on top thanks to a split decision but following his recent failed drugs test, Eubank Jr couldn't resist getting a dig or two in on his enemy.
Saunders has this week failed to gain a licence for his massive fight against Demetrius Andrade in America and has been forced to vacate his WBO middleweight strap as a result with a suspension likely.
It is a major blow to the unbeaten southpaw and Eubank Jr has been on hand to kick his domestic rival while he is down with some strong words.
So @bjsaunders_ how long you been taking illegal substances for son? It’s funny how you were giving it to Canelo while you were cheating with drugs yourself. Enjoy your time out & don’t worry the belt you’ve been stripped of will be in more deserving hands soon enough

There is clearly no love lost between the two and already there will be talk of a rematch in the future when both are in a position to fight with Eubank Jr set to fight James Degale in December and Saunders now facing the prospect of a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
