Well the fights start coming and they don’t stop coming. Now it’s lightweight all-star Devin Haney’s turn to hit the ground running, as he defends his WBC championship against Joseph ‘JoJo’ Diaz Jr. ‘The Dream’ will be looking to stay on course after watching divisional rival Teofimo Lopez get upset by George Kambosos Jr last weekend.

The undercard also sees undisputed welterweight champion Jessica McCaskill put her belts on the line against former two-weight world champion Victoria Bustos. The show also features unbeaten heavyweight prospect Filip Hrgovic, who will be looking to extend his run against durable journeyman Scott Alexander.

Here’s everything you need to know about an exciting night of action..

Last Fight: Haney did things the hard way in his last fight, against veteran former champion Jorge Linares. After boxing brilliantly for nine rounds, the American was rocked in the tenth session. For the duration of the championship rounds, Haney simply tried to survive as the great Venezuelan forced the issue. The result was a deserved unanimous decision win, but the late rounds exposed a hitherto-unforeseen weakness in Haney.

What They Say:

Haney

“Dec. 4 is my main focus right now. I look to go in there, being the best Devin Haney that I can, go in there and put on the best performance that I can. And that's what I will do. I will go in there and show the world why I'm so dominant." [Media Workout]

Diaz Jr

“I’m gonna go out there and do what I gotta do to be victorious, no matter what it takes. If he wants to box, I’m gonna hunt his ass down. If he wants to come and bang, then I’m gonna bang it out as well. Whatever he wants to bring to the table, I’m gonna bring it.” [The Ring]
