UFC 293 is in the books. The blockbuster Australian card ended with Sean Strickland shocking Israel Adesanya to take home the UFC middleweight championship. But even while we’re still processing that stunner of a result, the Octagon is being prepped for UFC Fight Night: Grasso vs Shevchenko II.
UFC flyweight champion Alexa Grasso will put her title on the line in the main event. Her opponent is Valentina Shevchenko, who she beat for the belt back in March. Grasso became the first fighter to defeat ‘Bullet’ in five years with that submission win at UFC 285.
The co-main event features welterweight contender Kevin Holland taking on the fearsome and in-form Jack Della Maddalena. The battle of ranked 170-pounders pits the veteran ‘Trailblazer’ against a fighter who hasn’t lost a fight since signing for the UFC.
