Two months have passed since Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder electrified the sporting sphere in Los Angeles.
The boxing heavyweights produced one of the most pulsating fights of the year and are now expected to put their unbeaten records on the line once again in a mega-money rematch in a few months time.
Over the weekend Fury confirmed that he gave his total earnings for the first fight (purse and pay-per-view money), which totalled a cool £7million, to the homeless.
"I did give away my last purse but I don’t do charity work for a pat on the back,” he said during an Evening With Tyson Fury, via The Sun.
"I do it to help people but I do not want praise for it, I don’t want to be called a do gooder."
The Gypsy King is now expected to bag more than TRIPLE of what he earned back in December, with a juicy figure of £20m rumoured to land in his bank account this time around - 40%, as the challenger - as reported by The Daily Mail.
The same publication reveals the destination and date of the next bout between Fury and Wilder, New York on 18 May, which is expected to be officially confirmed at some point this week.
The winner - that’s if there is a victor this time around - will surely go on to face the WBA, IBF and WBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, providing the Brit overcomes his reported next opponent Jarrell ‘Big Baby’ Miller, with the duo expected to go head-to-head in New York on June 1.
Joshua’s purse for that particular fight could be a staggering $32m (Boxing News Online) in what would be his debut fight in the US.
