The Sportsman has got you completely covered with all things KSI and Logan Paul ahead of the eagerly-anticipated boxing rematch between the two YouTube personalities on Saturday 9 November at the Staples Center, L.A.

We spoke to former world champion Johnny Nelson ahead of the fight which is being hyped as the biggest event in Internet history, following last year’s draw in Manchester.

Former-cruiserweight champion Nelson hung up his gloves well over a decade ago but is out on the West Coast and weighed in on both his opinion as to the outcome of the fight and whether the record-setting event that revolves around two non-professionals is actually damaging to boxing, with Billy Joe Saunders putting his WBO super-middleweight title on the line, but on the undercard.

“It’s good for our sport - If we have the chance to elevate the notoriety of our sport, to an audience that’s never considered watching boxing."

The two social media stars will be punching across the six rounds with 10 ounce gloves, as opposed to the 12 ounce they used in Manchester in the first bout last year. Headguards, which were also present, won’t be used this time around.

“These are knockout gloves, all the weight is in the wrist. Now you have two big units that are boxing, that have had a year to prepare. I think it’s going to be a different fight than it was last time.

Nelson was also probed as to how long he believes the fight will last.

“I’ll be surprised if it went the distance.

“Both fighters have seen what attention [the last fight] got. When you’ve got two fighters going in there, no headguard, smaller gloves. You’re going to see the result of that. This is what professional fighters do everyday.

Now they are professional fighters.

Importantly, Nelson was pressed as to the ultimate result, and put his allegiances to his fellow Brit KSI aside;

“I’m leaning towards a knock-out. These two guys have put a lot of work into it.

“I’d go for the more athletic of the two, I’d go for the bigger of the two. That’s Logan Paul.”
