Kyle Edmund Beats David Ferrer In Vienna Open

British tennis player Kyle Edmund has produced a shock at the Vienna Open by beating David Ferrer in straight sets to book his place in the last 16.

Edmund dominated the first set, winning it 6-2 before winning the second set 7-5 in the tiebreak.

He will play Dennis Novak or Thomas Fabbiano in the next round looking to go deep into the competition.

Also through to the last 16 is Alexander Zverv, Giles Simon and Richard Gasquet.

The current world number 58 has lost in the first round of Wimbledon for the last five years and will be looking to have a successful 2018.
