Major Crowd Fight Takes The Shine Off Tyson Fury Return

Major Crowd Fight Takes The Shine Off Tyson Fury Return
14:19, 10 Jun 2018

Tyson Fury made his comeback last night after almost three years out but the majority of the action came outside of the ring thanks to a massive brawl in the crowd at the Manchester Arena.

Fury made short work of Seferi as the pair of them exchanged a kiss, funny looks but very few punches before the Albanian quit on his stool at the end of the 4th round. Not before the pair were distracted midway through the fight though as a huge fight broke out just a few rows back from the ring apron.

Fury in particular was clearly distracted by the fight between a group of thugs and the events have of course taken social media by storm.

A furious set of lads were seen exchanging a furious amount of punches in the dust up which lasted for quite some time before being broken up by the security. The events certainly took a shine off the main event of the night which was meant to signal the return of one of the best fighters in the world.

It isn't known what sparked the brawl but it was certainly a a bad look for boxing in general, especially because the unlicensed fighting in the crowd was far more entertaining than the "fight" on display inside the ropes.

Tyson Fury will now move on to bigger and better things with a fight at Windsor Park in August on the Carl Frampton under card his next stop but organisers will be hoping they don't get a repeat of these appalling scenes...
