Roger Federer has won the Swiss Indoors event for the eighth time after overcoming Juan Martin del Potro 6-7, 6-4, 6-3.
The Swiss ace fought back from a set down to claim the title in front of his home crowd and cap off an incredible year 36-year-old.
He has won the Australian Open, Wimbledon, Indian Wells, Miami Open, Halle Open, Shanghai Masters and now the Swiss Indoors to make it seven titles for 2017.
He had a challenge on his hands after del Potro won the first set on the tie-break but it true Fed-style he came back with style to win the following two sets 6-4, 6-3.
He showed a sign of him that we have not seen for some time, losing his rag and hitting the net in anger after missing an simple volley on a break point.
Despite this, Federer regained his composure to take the title and surpasses Ivan Lendl to stand alone as the male player with 2nd most titles in the Open Era. (95).
Federer has been phenomenal in finals this year, winning seven and losing just one.
