If the sweet science is your game, prepare to be utterly spoiled for choice. There are high-quality cards everywhere you look this Saturday night, with every major boxing broadcaster putting on exciting fights. Read on for your viewer’s guide to every big bout, and details on when and where you can watch.

Sunny Edwards vs Muhammad Waseem & Regis Prograis vs Tyrone McKenna

Channel: Eurosport 2/Discovery+

The always-opinionated IBF flyweight champion makes the second defence of his crown against Muhammad Waseem in Dubai. It is Edwards’ second fight in the UAE, after beating Jayson Mama at the Coca-Cola Arena back in December.

The undercard sees former world champion Regis Prograis take on Belfast contender Tyrone McKenna. ‘Rougoru’ is best known to UK fans for his 2019 majority decision defeat to Josh Taylor. Prograis has won both his subsequent fights, and a win here would see him back in the world title conversation.

Alexis Rocha vs. Blair Cobbs/Michael McKinson vs Alex Martin

Channel: DAZN

This card was originally set to feature unbeaten high-level prospect Vergil Ortiz Jr taking on Michael McKinson in the main event. Ortiz Jr withdrew from the bout with rhabdomyolysis just days before.

McKinson’s first replacement opponent was Jesus Antonio Perez Campos, but he came in a whopping 28 pounds over the welterweight limit at the weigh-in. McKinson now looks set to meet ‘Chi-Town Heat’ Alex Martin. The 32-year-old has beaten two undefeated fighters in his last three fights, and McKinson will be hoping his 0 doesn’t go against the American.

After the Ortiz Jr withdrawal, Alexis Rocha’s welterweight showdown with unbeaten Blair Cobbs was promoted to main event status. What this one lacks in box office name value, it makes up for in animosity. These two fighters have made their distaste for one another clear in the build-up, and this one could ignite in the ring.

Edgar Berlanga vs Steve Rolls

Channel: Sky Sports

Edgar Berlanga continues his inexorable march through the super middleweight division on Saturday night in New York City. ‘The Chosen One’ knocked out his first 16 opponents, but is coming off the back of the first two decision wins of his career.

Steve Rolls has only been taken out by the best. The Canadian’s only career loss came at the powerful gloves of Gennady Golovkin, who blitzed him in four rounds. A win in even shorter order could propel Berlanga to great heights at a time when the future of the world title belts, currently held by Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez, is uncertain.

David Avanesyan vs Oskari Metz

Channel: BT Sport

The world class Avanesyan puts his European welterweight title on the line against something of an unknown quantity in Oskari Metz. The Finnish 30-year-old is 15-0, and has a background in Muay Thai. He will have his fists full with Avanesyan, who is in the form of his life.

The Russian was not known as a puncher earlier in his career, and has amassed just 16 stoppages from his 28 wins. However, five of those have come in his last five outings. That includes two first-round knockouts and a second-round TKO over Liam Taylor last time out. The former WBA secondary belt-holder looks to be finding top form, and another quick victory here could put him back in world title contention.
