The French Open Final is always one of the highlights of the sporting calendar and the women's final has not disappointed.

A packed crowd at Roand Garros got to witness a stunning final between Simona Halep and Sloane Stephens on the red clay but there was one point in particular which had the crowd on their feet.

Two of the best athletes in sport, the pair produced a simply remarkable point in the first set with both women leaving everything on the court. WOW.

It was Stephens who got off to the quicker start in the final but Halep is one of the toughest characters in the sport and wasn't about to give up any point without a fight. The American eventually got the better of the point in the fifth game but only after some stunning defensive work from her Romanian opponent in Paris.

Halep was pushed side-to-side by Stephens during a point which would have been worthy of winning a Grand Slam, let alone at 30-15 in the first set of the final.

The World #1 was contesting her 4th Grand Slam Final and she somehow managed to get back in the point having looked out of it on about five occasions. The hard work didn't pay off though as Halep dumped a forehand into the net due to sheer exhaustion but it was a moment to live long in the memory of tennis fans across the world.

Stephens won the point but this was the exact moment where she knew it wasn't going to be an easy days work...
